My name is Heather Hruska. I have been teaching music for 26 years, both in the classroom at school, teaching private lessons at my home music studio, summer music camps and accompanying for churches, events and school choirs. I taught in the Chicagoland area before moving to Charlotte in 2009. Piano and voice are my main performance instruments. I have worked with theater productions as vocal director, production assistant and playing piano in the pit. I enjoy making music fun and sharing my passion with others, teaching music to all ages. I delight in seeing students grow in their learning, and hearing their talent develop. When I’m not teaching music, I love outdoor adventures. Hiking, Biking and Paddleboarding are some of my favorites.
