Shabbat Shalom! Parsha Homework Time!
Your children will enhance your Shabbat experience by sharing with you their Parsha homework!
Just in case they get a serious case of “forgetfulness”, please use the information below to help them out!
This week we read Parshat Vayeira.
The “Semel” (symbol) for this week’s Parsha is an open door.
The “Kesher” (connection) to the Parsha becomes obvious when we learn about Avraham’s “open 4 door policy” towards guests. An additional detail that we learned is enthusiasm. Three times it says that Avraham and his family hurried to care for their guests.
The “Messer” (lesson) for 3rd graders to take home is the importance of welcoming our guests, with a ‘Give it all you got’ attitude!
Shabbat Shalom!
