Ways to Give
The Annual Fund is Charlotte Jewish Day School's largest fundraising campaign, helping to cover the difference between tuition and the actual cost of a CJDS education. Each year, parents, grandparents, alumni, and friends contribute to the Annual Fund, directly impacting the school's operating budget.
We ask that each CJDS family make a meaningful gift. Each gift moves us closer to our goal. A high rate of participation among our families demonstrates to the community how our parents value their child’s CJDS education.
CJDS runs a yearly online Giving Tuesday event geared towards alumni.
CJDS recognizes grandparents who support the Annual Fund with a gift of $1800 or more.
This fund was established in 2015 by CJDS graduate Abby Kosofsky in honor of her Bat Mitzvah and provides support for students who need additional financial assistance beyond what the school may be able to award to attend CJDS. The fund serves as an opportunity for all CJDS graduates to continue the mitzvah of tzedakah by contributing at the time of their Bar or Bat Mitzvah.
Tribute gifts are a meaningful way to celebrate a special occasion, acknowledge an achievement, send a holiday greeting, or pay tribute to someone special while supporting CJDS at the same time. If you would like the recipient of your tribute to receive an acknowledgment card, we ask for a minimum gift of $18.00.
