A Fun First Full Week of Kindergarten!

Hello Families,

The first full week of kindergarten has flown by! This week we started working in some reading centers with buddies, had our phonics and phonemic awareness assessments, and started discussing the meaning of fiction and nonfiction.  We started exploring the wooden pieces we use in our handwriting program, which will begin next week! (pictures below) We also learned that we will go on our first field trip to Tiger World, on September 18th!  Enjoy your long weekend!
