April 17, 2015

First of all I hope that everyone had a great break and welcome back.  This week students were able to present their second PBL project.  Students created either a board game or trading card based on information learned about the American Revolution.  I am totally blown away by the hard work that each group displayed.  Their games are actually really cool.

A few reminders:  On Tuesday April 21st we will be going to the Stone Family farm to learn some pre-camping skills and enjoy a little fresh air.  Students will need to bring their lunch that day and dress appropriately.  It is a farm and outdoors so I would recommend wearing clothes and shoes that are ok to get dirty.

On Tuesday April 28th and Wednesday April 29th the students will be taking the WRAP test which is an assessment of writing skills.  This is the first time we have ever given this test.  Students are to begin promptly at 8:15.  Any students who are tardy will not be permitted to go to class until the testing is over.  Please do your best to have your student arrive on time those days so they can do their best.

April 30th we will be attending a concert with the fourth grade at 9 am.
