Welcome Back!

We are beginning to get into our routines this week and thus far, it has been awesome.  I am really looking forward to working with this great bunch of fifth graders this year.  This week we will begin our assessments in reading, writing and math.  I know it seems like a lot, but the wealth of information that I get in a short period of time really helps me to determine where to start.  These bright students are eager to get started and show what they can do.  I look forward to bringing out the best in them this year and getting them ready for middle school. I understand that there are several holidays in the upcoming months, so please keep me posted on days that your child might miss school.
