Chanukah Sameach! Happy Chanukah!

It was a lot of fun celebrating the first half of Chanukah at home with family as well as in school with our classmates.

On Tuesday and Wednesday we enjoyed special afternoon school wide assemblies. On Thursday we celebrated our “First in Math” accomplishments with a school wide PAJAMA DAY, complete with hot cocoa, cookies, Chanukah movies…

Of course in our classroom we were rocking with Chanukah Mitzvot and Customs, lighting the Chanukiya right by the window for all to see, playing grand Dreidle Competitions and frying yummy Sufganiyot! Delish!

To keep the Chanukah excitement going, we went to Carriage Club to share the Chanukah fun with others who might not have as much excitement going on all the time. A special thank you to the parents and grandparents who were able to join us. For those of you who missed it, I can report with great pride that your children outdid themselves. Their poise, good manners and social skills were all top notch. As a matter of fact the program director asked us to come back again!!!!
