Charlotte Symphony

Fourth and fifth grades had the opportunity to hear the Charlotte Symphony on Thursday.  We had some of the best seats in the house – the first 3 rows!  The theme of the concert was “Sounds of Enchantment: Myths, Legends, and Fables in Music.”  Some of the favorite pieces from the concert included the opening piece, the William Tell Overture, and the finale, the Raiders March from Raiders of the Lost Ark.  Other pieces performed at the concert included music from A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Cinderella, and Mother Goose Suite.  Here is one picture that I was able to take before the concert started.
