First full week coming up!

What a month we’ve had with all of the holidays and days off school! I look very forward to a full, regular week of school next week.

Next Friday, we’ll be going to the Matthews Playhouse to see James and the Giant Peach. We are also reading the book in class and the kids are really enjoying Roald Dahl’s peculiar writing style. Third graders are learning new words like eccentric, pinnacle, rambunctious, balderdash and malevolent from the story.

Curriculum night is next Thursday, October 15th from 7:00-8:00. Please plan to be here so you can hear all about what your child is learning and ask any questions you may have.
