Hanukkah Week!
What an incredible week third graders had for Hanukkah! They made edible menorahs out of grapes, clementines, and jelly beans on Tuesday. On Wednesday, students played a series of games; including Donut Wizzle, Dreidel spinning (they dressed in a dreidel costume and spun themselves while racing to finish first), marched like soldiers, sang songs and more! On Thursday, we had PJ day and were treated to hot cocoa and chocolate chip cookies thanks to the First in Math celebration. They even made their own jelly filled donuts in Judaica! Friday was a trip to the Carriage Club, followed by a fun assembly playing games and singing songs. Whew- we are ready for winter break! Enjoy the time off and see you in January!
