Kindergarten Connection

Hello Families,

I really enjoyed meeting with all of you during conferences. This is such a wonderful group of children, thank you for sharing them!

What a great week we have had in kindergarten! We started our science unit focusing on the five senses and our bodies this week. We conducted an experiment to try and determine mystery items using our sense of smell, the garlic was a surprise to a lot of students! (a few pics below) We also continued our counting strategies math unit and have started some simple addition.

Today we had our first Kindergarten Connection activity! Each kindergartner was paired up with a buddy they will have for the whole year. They got to know their buddies a little and then did a fun art project. I have added pictures below for you to enjoy.
