Kindergarten News

Hello Families,

We have had a great week in kindergarten! We have been working on identifying the characters and setting in stories during Reading Workshop. We have also been discussing nouns and are working on sounding out words to label our illustrations during Writing Workshop. Students really enjoyed our fine motor center this week, ask about the droppers and colored water! I am including some pictures of Author’s Chair, which is a special time when authors share their stories with the class. In math we worked on counting strategies and created our own counting books. Sharing Day will be Friday, September 19th. I will send a reminder the night before as well! Enjoy your weekend :)!
