Kindergarten Weekly Wrap Up

Hello Families,

I hope you had a great week! In Reading Workshop this week we worked on recalling the beginning, middle, and end of a story, along with the characters and setting. We also have been identifying whether a book is fiction or non fiction. In Writing Workshop we wrote stories about what we want to be when we grow up. We had some teachers, a banker, a few doctors, and even a rock star :). I will be posting the stories on our writing bulletin board next week. In math we continue to work on counting strategies and numeral identification. And of course we had our first Sharing Day today! I have posted pictures of some of our centers, as well as some Sharing Day pictures for your viewing pleasure. Enjoy your weekend!
