Kitah Bet goes digital

We have made a lot of progress in Hebrew script writing, only a few letters to go, and all our writing will be done in script. 

 

This week the students received their user names and passwords for their italam accounts. We have reviewed computer rules, practiced logging in, read stories and even recorded some pages. And all this is just the beginning!

 

The principle of italam is based on blended learning, which means that the children will spend some of their time learning on the computer but the rest of the time is spent in the traditional classroom setting. Flashcards, reading , writing (yes, with pencil on paper or with a marker on a dry-erase board), singing, moving, etc.

We are extremely fortunate that our school provides us with enough chrome books for every student in the group – it makes for a great united atmosphere! Thank you Mariashi and Quyen!
