This week we learned the letter Kuf, which is the first letter of the word “kiddush.” By now we know that we don’t just recite the kiddush on Shabbat, but we drink four cups at the seder, there is a cup of wine under the chupah at a Jewish wedding, and a cup at Havdalah when it is time to say goodbye to Shabbat.
Of course in kindergarten we had a cup of grape juice for the kiddush, and we watched a video about a talking wine bottle.
