Maps and Protractors

This week we have been learning about the different regions of the United States.  The students have been working in partners to use a variety of maps, such as ones that show longitude and latitude, population density, and elevation.

In math, we have been discussing types of angles (acute, obtuse, right, straight, and reflex) as well as measuring and drawing angles.  The fourth graders have been having fun using whole circle and half circle protractors.
