Planks, Patterns, and Portfolios!
We had a great week in kindergarten, starting our small group rotations in reading workshop and working in our handwriting books. We identified characters in our stories and worked more on labeling pictures. We have been talking about families and completed a project about families that was sent home in the portfolios. Avi’s father added wooden planks to the playground and the students have been so creative with their use! Pictures of center time, the playground, and our first Mystery 1st Grade Reader (Avi Stone) are included below. Sent home in backpacks are the Judaica folders and portfolios with your child’s work and progress report. Please keep the work at your home to enjoy, sign the progress report and place it back in the portfolio and return the folder and portfolio Monday. Have a wonderful weekend!
