Poets and they didn’t even know it!

What a week! Third graders have been writing poetry and having a blast! They’ve written couplets, cinquains, diamante poems, name poems, limericks, even haiku. They’re compiling their very own poetry books and will be ready for  sharing soon. Students have also been practicing their fluency with interviewing each other, reading timed phrases, and using a spinner to determine the expression they should use on a selected passage.
