PokeMensch in Training!

Hello parents,

Today CJDS were introduced to our new school mascot, PokeMensch! The whole school is participating in this program that is targeting behaviors in 8 different locations throughout the school. There are two specific behaviors kids should be striving for in each location. For example, in the lunchroom, students should say please and thank you AND clean up after themselves. In general studies classrooms, students should wait their turn to speak and be responsible for their actions. The 8 locations and behaviors are posted on a beautiful poster in each classroom in the school. Students were also given their own PokeMensch in Training sticker book. At least three times a week, students will reflect on their behaviors from the week and receive stickers for corresponding behaviors. Students earn points and prizes with this program and everyone is excited to be a PokeMensch!cimg2462 cimg2463 cimg2466 cimg2467 cimg2468 cimg2469 cimg2470 cimg2473 cimg2474 cimg2475 cimg2477 cimg2478 cimg2479

Another fun thing we started this week is Go Noodle shake breaks. Ask your child to tell you about this engaging and interactive way to get the sillies out!

Have a wonderful weekend!

Shabbot Shalom!
