Shofar Factory

Hello parents!

What an experience we had today at the Shofar Factory! Each kid got to sand, buff and stain their own shofar. After this, the kids tried blowing and there were some beautiful sounds! Take a look at the wonderful event Mariashi put together for our school.

Yesterday the kids learned who their pen pals will be for the year. Each kid in our class is pen pals with two students at Atlanta Jewish Academy and we’ll eventually meet them in person when we have our overnight field trip in March. We’re focusing on properly writing a friendly letter and will mail our letters next week sometime. 

Have a wonderful Rosh Hashana and I’ll see the kids next Wednesday when school resumes!
