Tashlich and Yom Kippur

It is a tradition to do Tashlich by a stream or lake on Rosh Hashanah. We say a tefilla and throw away our mistakes. This past Monday Kitah Bet went to do just that:

We learned that we prepare for Yom Kippur through Teshuva (asking for forgiveness), Tefilla and Tzedaka. The students were divided into groups and each group made a poster showing that they understood these three concepts. The students worked together beautifully and they showed that they understood the concepts.

Yom KIppur homework is in the backpacks. Please review with your child and return to school on Monday.

Gemar Chatima Tova – may we all be sealed for a good year!
