Tefillah Plays and more

Hello parents,

Last week I had the pleasure of seeing the results of hard work and dedicated practice through the performance of Tefillah Plays in Judaica. The third graders memorized their lines and were wonderful actors/actresses. They really internalized their roles and taught powerful lessons. Take a look at the pictures below!

A couple housekeeping items:

  1. If your child is unable to complete their homework, please send an email. When a child explains they were ‘too busy’ or ‘didn’t have any time’ to complete a quick speed drill homework or daily editing piece that usually takes 3-4 minutes, I wonder if their claim is accurate 🙂 However, my own sons’ baseball games can take up to 3 hours of a week night evening, so I TOTALLY understand being busy. I just please ask you let me know if this is the case.
  2. You are welcome to order books from the Scholastic order forms at any time. I do not set due dates. The more you order, the more books our classroom earns!
  3. Spelling tests are always on Friday. However, due to this short week and next, there is a test next Wednesday on the words they picked for this week.

Chag Sameach!
