What is in my Child’s Backpack? Chanukah!

Judaica folders are coming home today!  Here is what you might find:

• Aleph Bet work: In addition to Chanukah, we learned five new Hebrew letters.
• Sara and Rivka’s tent with the three miracles depicted.  This Torah story was a great preview to Chanukah and its miracles.
• A Chanukah story book illustrated by your child
• A parent-teacher communication note, please comment and/or sign and return TOMORROW.
• A Chanukah gift from Ms. Otte and me.  Ask your child… why do we get gifts or money on Chanukah?  (Hint: it has to do with the heroes of Chanukah)
