What sort of swings do baby elephants need?

B”H Shalom Parents, Have you even wondered what sort of swings a baby elephant might need?  I am not sure if this is a question that you have pondered lately but today in Kitah Aleph we read a story about just such a baby elephant who goes for a walk in a park to see if he can find swings for himself.  The word for swings in Hebrew is Nadneda and this can mean the regular sort of swing and also playground equipment that slides or rocks as well.  This week we are up to Nun which explains the “Nadneda”.  Here is a video of me reading the story.  I am sure that you will want to find the answer to the riddle on the last page.

Shabbat Shalom
