Hello CJDS families! I am delighted to be teaching as a Kindergarten Assistant this year. I am looking forward to meeting all the families. Charlotte has been my home for twenty years, and I taught middle school for thirteen years at Charlotte Country Day School. Then I moved to NYC and worked in publishing. There, I discovered my passion for becoming a librarian and I worked for NYPL. My teaching philosophy is to cultivate a love of learning, create a community of connections and develop a validation of academic passion that can be the fuel of a lifetime of learning. I am a results-oriented, collaborative educator who has a history of inspiring students with creative, intelligent instruction.
