I am a Charlotte native, history enthusiast, and proud mom to two amazing daughters. I have a passion for helping students discover the power of stories, language, and the lessons of the past. With years of experience teaching English Language Arts and Social Studies, I strive to create engaging, meaningful learning experiences that challenge students to think critically, communicate effectively, and make connections between history, literature, and the world around them.
I believe that strong relationships are the foundation of student success. By creating a classroom built on respect, curiosity, and encouragement, I aim to help every student feel seen, supported, and capable of reaching their full potential.
I’m excited to begin this new chapter and look forward to building a positive classroom community where students feel inspired to learn, grow, and achieve together.
