Mandy DiFilippo joined CJDS in 2004 where she taught first grade for four years. Mandy’s expertise in classroom management, curriculum and instruction, and service to students led to her transition as the school’s Assistant Director in 2008. Mandy has since served on four strategic plans and accreditation renewals, oversees new curriculum adoptions and the development and transition of new instructional approaches. Mandy established and reinforces a high level of accountability for progressing monitoring and student achievement. Mandy serves numerous families by acting as a liaison on their behalf to connect families to reputable professional psychologists, therapists and tutors in the Charlotte and surrounding communities. Mandy’s knowledge in the field of education, psychology, and communication disorders have evolved into a passion for neuroscience with a commitment to understanding how children learn as well as characteristics and behaviors associated with neurological disorders.
