My goal for any student that comes into my classroom at CJDS is simple – make learning fun. I couldn’t be happier to be a part of this incredible community and to get the chance to share my love of learning with all of you.
This is my third year at CJDS, and my ninth year teaching as a whole. I have my Bachelors’ degree in Elementary Education from the University of North Carolina-Charlotte and my Masters’ degree in Teaching and Learning with a focus on Reading from Nova Southeastern University.
This is my first year teaching second grade at CJDS. I spent the last two years teaching first grade at the school. My students can expect a fun, but challenging classroom environment with an emphasis on hands-on learning. I pride myself on a building individual relationships with my students and their families.
When I’m not sharing my love of learning, I love to travel and experiences new places and cultures with my husband (Sean) and our one-year old daughter (Emilia).
