Stacey Sequeira is an experienced educator with more than 25 years of teaching experience in South Florida. She is excited to relocate to the Charlotte area and bring her passion for student-centered learning to a new school community.
Throughout her career, Stacey has taught elementary students in a variety of settings, including ESOL, gifted education, students with disabilities, and reading intervention using the Barton Reading & Spelling System. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre from the University of Florida and a Master’s degree in Elementary Education from Florida Atlantic University.
Stacey believes that creativity is a powerful tool for learning and seamlessly integrates theatre into her teaching to engage students, build confidence, and make learning meaningful. She is passionate about differentiating instruction so every child can learn in the way that works best for them.
Her teaching philosophy is rooted in the belief that every child has an inner star waiting to shine. By fostering a supportive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment, Stacey strives to help each student discover their strengths, develop a love of learning, and reach their fullest potential.
As she begins this exciting new chapter in Charlotte, Stacey looks forward to inspiring students, collaborating with colleagues, and becoming an active member of her new school community.
